In harsh winter conditions, wrapping the pot in horticultural fleece can help insulate both the plant and terracotta. Adding a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base before planting supports healthy root development and prevents waterlogging.

Hesitated, but Laurence put my mind at ease!

I found Gardenesque online and these lovely Tiscan terracotta pots. Long story short, I called and spoke to Laurence. After a brief but informative telephone conversation I ordered x6 of these pots. Delivery was within time scale, a very nice chap from Palletways delivered them and they are now sitting on my upper patio.
The whole process was smooth and professionally handled and I would recommend the team at Gardenesque to do a top hole job.

Beautiful pot

Lovely pot, promptly dispatched

Pot had a slight imperfection, but nothing too bothersome. Delivery was by PalletLine and I had to plead with the driver to take the pallet away with him, which apparently he wasn’t supposed to do. Not sure how I would have been able to dispose of it.
