RECIPES TO SAVOUR THE SEASON: SPRING
Sundried Tomato, Basil & Feta Fusilli
Serves 4
There’s a quiet joy to be found in eating outside. Perhaps it’s the scent of herbs in the air or the way the evening light catches on glassware. Summer dining doesn’t call for anything too elaborate – just simple, honest, organic ingredients, thoughtfully prepared, and best enjoyed with bare feet on warm stone and a favourite linen napkin close to hand.
This recipe – sundried tomato, basil and feta fusilli – is just that. Easy to assemble, full of flavour, and wonderfully adaptable. It’s as much at home served in generous bowls at the garden table as it is packed into a hamper and taken on a picnic beneath a tree. And the first recipe in our #EnjoyOutdoors series over on Instagram, @gardenesque_uk
Setting the Scene
Food tastes better when it’s shared, and even more so when you take time to create a setting that feels special – however simple. Lay the table with soft linens, bring out your favourite crockery, and let nature provide the backdrop. Potted herbs, flickering candles, the gentle hum of spring – all you really need is a little time to pause and enjoy.
Featuring our Repton Classic Picnic Garden Furniture Set with farmhouse wooden garden table and set of 2 garden benches.
