Please note our large terracotta pots are handmade, so sizes may vary slightly. The Clayton Lattice large terracotta pot is weatherproof, so can be left outside year-round even in frosty spells.
How to choose your Gardenesque planter
Flower pots come in all shapes and sizes. Your plant should always live in a planter that is slightly larger than the plant itself as they will need enough space for their roots need to grow without becoming pot bound.
Select your plant and note the diameter of the growing pot it is planted in. Our plant pots can be measured in two ways:
- The volume of the pot in litres (common in larger pots and planters)
- They can also be measured by the diameter across the top, their height and width. (Usually displayed in either centimetres or inches)
When choosing a pot for both outdoor and indoor plants, choose a pot that is 1-2 inches larger than the current size its planted in. If the pot size is more than 10”, choose a pot that is 2-3 inches larger in diameter. The container should be about half the height of your plant. Using this design principle, a 9-inch pot would suit an 18-inch plant.. .

Important Information for Pallet Delivery
- Curb side Delivery: Pallet deliveries are curb side. For tarmacked driveways, the driver may place the pallet closer to your door. For gravel or grass, drop-off will be at the curb.
- Contact Information: Palletways will arrange delivery with you directly. If unreachable after 3 attempts, delivery will proceed to the curb side. Please provide a valid phone number.
- Inspection: Check your items on delivery. If damaged, sign "damaged" or refuse the delivery.
- Redelivery and Returns: Refusing delivery and requesting redelivery may incur fees ranging from £35 - £100. For returns, please contact us.
- Accessibility: Upon contact from Palletways please inform them of any restrictions they may have upon delivery. E.g. low bridges, narrow lanes and parking restrictions.
Tracking and Updates
For standard deliveries, please provide a mobile number at checkout for SMS updates and a delivery time slot on the day of delivery.
