Design Features

Designed for ultimate relaxation, this spacious rattan egg chair includes integrated arm inserts for extra comfort. The adjustable chain allows you to customise the height, while the sturdy metal frame and weather-resistant rattan-effect seat ensure durability in outdoor conditions. The two-piece design makes it easy to move, making it just as suited to conservatories as it is to gardens.

Materials

Built with a durable yet lightweight metal frame, the Paxton Rattan Hanging Chair is weather-resistant and easy to reposition. The woven rattan-effect seat is low-maintenance, while the deeply cushioned seat and backrest offer long-lasting comfort and support.

The removable cushions can be easily cleaned, but should be stored indoors when not in use to maintain their quality. The rattan-effect frame can be wiped down with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge—avoid harsh cleaning agents to preserve its finish.

My new spa retreat!

I have been trying out hanging egg chairs on every visit to my local garden centres for the past 2 years. But when I saw the Paxton online at Gardenesque, it looked so superior in quality, I knew this was 'the one'. Fairly easy although very time-consuming to put together, but then self-assembly and my brain have an ongoing battle. Not cheap but I paid in instalments, and absolutely worth it. The quality is superb and it's so natural looking, and the most beautiful inviting shape. As for comfort...out of this world. The chair and cushions seem to enfold you like a cocoon. The first time I sat in it with a book, a blanket and a cup of tea, I felt so at peace I fell asleep almost straightaway. Now it has become 'my place' whenever I feel I need to retreat from the world. Thank you.

Love my Egg Chair

Been wanting an egg chair for a while so happy I finally found one I liked the look of. Good quality chair and looks great. The only problem is it is too comfortable and I could laze in it all day :-). Mine arrived slightly damaged but Gardenesque very quickly replaced it for me so good follow-on customer service too.

Pretty and sturdy

Really love this chair! I used mine for indoor seating. Its classy as well as very strong and durable. One you can probably keep in the family for a generation or two!
